I derped something Two days work.. I'm so slow Lighting and fire afkasd I hate them forever D|
Crit is greatly appreciated! This is my first time doing fire, so it looks really dodgy D| Also accidentally made some texturing on the material..maybe...no? Anyway, if you see anything to improve, don't hesitate to point it out! I won't bite
Jay's been hogging the drawings lately His pyrokinesis is fun to play with ..pyrokinesis is the wrong word, it's more like hoping the fire does something close to what he wants it to do. His abilities aren't control, they're manipulation; it's more of an influence or persuasion he has over the elements than absolute perfect dominance. And the more he uses his abilities, the less sway he has over what happens; it becomes more like the elements are controlling him than vice-versa. Hence he tends to set himself on fire a lot, or trip over and cause an earthquake. And unitentionally make pretty swirly patterns.

AND A SHOUT OUT TO who puts up with my derpy WIPs over MSN and is always there to help ;o; <3
I know I said I wouldn't upload tonight but I can't help it >3>
After reading ur information that you had posted along with piece I love the character even more. Its interesting how his story plays into the way that the fire looks as though its trying to consume and destroy him, but also issuing forth from his own and being controlled by him. The motion in this piece is vivid and spiraling which is pleasing to the eye, the red/orange/yellow tones set the viewer alive with excitement, Vision is one of torment over not being able to fully control oneself (who cant relate to that), and originality isnt something unseen before but ur twist with the story helped add alot to the imagery. All combining to create an impact that makes me feel that even though the character is superhuman he remains easily relatable. Very nice job
The fire is good, actually. One thing I thhink you could fix is the foot. The perspective isn't right on it. I love fire, and this does it justice. Nice job.
I think it's brilliant in both simplicity and impact - Jay's always one of my favourite babies and it's great to see you're practicing and developing him more; and the elements that you hate just serve to make this all the more amazing.
I didn't notice via MSN, though he could do with more cinders/sparks coming off him, just to add to the fire detail... although this one is five days old and you've improved so much from then to now. I'm forever proud of you little one. <3
