:iconspadiekitchenqueen: Interview with a Vouivre"There we are. Please accept my utmost apologies for my earliest actions but you seemed somehow... stressed out. Are you comfortable enough? Do you need anything?"
"Untying me would be a good start I think."
My mouth is dry and yet I can't refrain from being snarky. The plump, middle aged woman in front of me smiles and pats my knee encouragingly.
"Of course I shall my dear, but not right now. This seemed to be necessary and I apologise for the discomfort but this shouldn't stop me from showing common courtesy, unlike you did. Would you like a drink of water maybe, or some tea?"
Her voice is mellow, educated as she looks at me above her perfectly proper, perfectly clear glasses, the tiniest bit of stress in her inflexions when she mentioned what she calls my lack of courtesy gone as soon as she has evocated it. Part of me knows I will certainly not survive this meeting. Part of me is still screaming at me for having provoked this, and finally, the last part of me, the louder one for no

Gender: Female
Species: Witch
Age: 150 years (looks like in late teens – early twenties)
Heritage: German
Height: 1,70 meters
Sexuality: Bisexual
Appearance: She has flawless, rosy skin. She has egg shaped face and curvy body. She has large dark eyes, full rosy lips, straight nose and wavy black hair that reaches her waist.
Personality:: At first glance she’s a cold and solitaire woman. She might seem indifferent when she sees one in pain or in sadness. But once she cares for one person she would be very gentle and friendly with him/her and would do anything to protect him/her. She is difficult to impress and she is hesitant to open her heart to those that care for her. She gets jealous and angry very easily, which is the only way when she doesn't think rational and
I hate themI fear fire. That is the one thing I'm sure of.
It is not completely there, it never was solid. You can't hold onto it to make sure it is real. It burns you when you touch it, and it leaves you cold when it is not there. It can bring light and warmth, but only from a distance.
But as it has power and it can destroy many things, as it is fragile in its own way and can be taken out just as easily as it burns.
It is a weapon, a life source, almost the embodiment of yin and yang. It can create light, but it also creates smoke which blocks out the light. It is always both, never holding onto one definition, never simple, for me to try and understand.
I am cold now that the fire is gone. But I hate it.
I hate fire.
Ever since my only family was murdered by the fire the humans have set to our house, I fear every single flame my eyes meet.
I…I cannot forgive myself for the terrible sins I have committed. Mother Nature itself has cursed me to never be able to have children. Ah…Onl

:icontherockinghorsefly: Persimmon
Eyes like black beads perch on drooping cheeks, peaking out with greedy curiosity. They look small in comparison to the rest of her body, corpulent legs and arms, sweaty fingers, a dress draped over her that looks like a bed sheet.  Her hair, however, is beautiful and long, writhing before her like a snake and taking apart the platter of cakes Persimmon had set on the coffee table. Persimmon tries not to cringe at the sight of the woman’s hair shoving the food into the back of her head.
The woman with the long hair ignores Persimmon, looking at her mother, Eve.
“Nice nose.” She snorts. “How’d you get through town with that beak attached to your face?”
Eve avoids making eye contact with her daughter, sighing with a tired smile. “Wrapping ourselves up isn’t too strange in the winter.” She takes Persimmon’s hand without looking at her, stroking it with the rough calloused skin of her thumb. The roughness is comforting. “I w

:iconlolacolarolaraven: CONTEST: KorinaTrickster Mythology
Tricksters are present in the mythology of many cultures, appearing as a catalyst for change. Tricksters most often serve the purpose of representing chaos and the unpredictability of life – without which, life would become bland and mankind would cease to evolve and improve. In this way, Tricksters are used in mythology and storytelling in order to cause mischief – often in a humorous manner – which in turn drives the plot forward. The mischief and chaos which Tricksters cause in myths often upsets the balance, either in nature or society, or between two characters, which must be rectified by either humans or the gods, depending on the particular issue. They are also referred to in most mythology as being demi-gods, or small gods.
Tricksters are often portrayed as being frail of body, but strong of mind, but do not always fit this description. Tricksters are commonly portrayed in mythology as being immortal, as well as notoriously self-indulgent.
